1. How did did you get into music?
I’ve been singing since as long as I can remember. I sang through school with choirs and even studied music industry in college. It has always been my first love and honestly, will remain the most important thing to me. (besides family, of course) 🙂

It was absolutely incredible! It was honestly a dream come true and makes me truly believe that anything is possible with work and dedication. The coolest thing about it was the crowd. People that come to concerts with an open heart are the best people to rock for. They love every minute of it and that is the biggest reward as a musician.
4. What inspires you when writing music?
Everything! Many of my songs definitely come from my experiences. Sometimes it is just a feeling I’ve had for a split second, or sometimes about a friend. The cool thing about music is it can be about anything! An artistic outlet that can take any form. For me though, I like writing about how I feel at the moment. It’s a sort of therapy… allows me to understand myself a bit better.
5. What was the inspiration for the ep?
The songs on the EP were about 5-6 years of lyrics that were written in my journal. It really encapsulated relationships and learning experiences I went though in college. It was actually quite nostalgic in a way. As for ‘Beautiful Day’, I jsut wanted to write a happy song that EVERYONE could relate to and we’ve had much success with that!
6. Who have you enjoyed playing with recently?
Local musicians/producers/fellow friends. They are your biggest supporters and inspirations. It’s a beautiful thing sharing music with people. They help your songs come alive. Without the perfect pieces, a terrific song wouldn’t be possible. You need every component.
