Christian Turner is a Canadian indie rock band out of Toronto with Christian Turner (Teenage Kicks) on vocals and guitar, Jeff Takahashi on bass, Gavin McCleod and Mitchell Dunn on guitars, and Konrad Commisso on the drums. Turner spent his formative years immersed in the early 2010s Toronto indie scene, playing in a variety of acts. Their collective philosophy veers towards minimalism: dropping the antics to deliver pure rock’n’roll.

On the heels of their debut single “Nobody But You,” they share their second single “Barely Listening” about being in their 30s and missing hanging out with their friends… even though it was always problematic.

After an abysmal breakup and many shifts working coat check at a Toronto concert venue, FRANKIE FLOWERS felt the sudden urge to use her voice as her main instrument and began writing and creating alternative music as a release. Merging her love for dark-wave and post-punk music to create a genre-bending sound, FRANKIE urges you to escape reality and experience the unknown.

Dynamic new single, “BAD DREAM,” is the product of the feelings that follow upon waking from a vivid nightmare… questioning what’s real vs. what’s not and how scattered the mind seems to get. The whispered line, “We’re all gonna turn to dust in the end,” sounds like a secret and feeds into the vibe of existential dread.

Two accomplished Canadian East Coast singer-songwriters, Don Brownrigg and Terra Spencer, join forces to produce a moving gentle country waltz that will make you want to sway to the beat.

The first verse of the lyrics was written over a decade ago by Brownrigg, and the song was finally finished when he met Spencer.

Sydney based and New Zealand born artist Xela has released her debut EP ‘In The Grey’, alongside an accompanying music video that was premiered via Music Feeds.

Xela is now ready to unleash her stunning debut EP to the world. ‘In the Grey’ is available on all major online streaming services.

“Her vocal tone really shines amongst the expanse of production, bubbling atop the fluorescent synths and baselines with dashes of sunrise and spirit. Her loves of jazz, R&B and dance come through in a major way as well, helping her pack the best of all genres into an impactful bop that makes you to pop and lock to your hearts content.”

Billy Rogers has been a backbone of the Niagara, ON music scene for the past two decades. Previously released tracks – “Criminal” and “Runnin’ Blind” – helped cement Rogers as both a profound songwriter and composer. Now he returns with “One Night Only,” an energetic song that spurred from seeing the phrase emblazoned on tickets for a stag and doe.

Final chorus I will not forget this one night only signifies that even the best moments will pass. It’s important to always keep them close in your memory so you can return to them when life gets low again.

An American citizen raised in the heart of the Canadian prairies, award-winning roots/Americana singer-songwriter Noah Derksen writes with the groundedness of harsh Manitoba winters mixed with the failed optimism of the American Dream. His third full-length album, Sanctity of Silence, follows the arc of love from start to finish: the joyful beginning to the bitter ending. Produced by JUNO Award winner Murray Pulver and mixed by Grammy winner Ryan Freeland, it features an array of Winnipeg’s talented music core.

“You Got a Hold On Me” takes the lead, inviting you to picture yourself at 25, driving off towards the sunset, the warmth of the light on your face. The road winds ever so gently, a smooth two-lane highway with no one else around but the trees lining the pavement. Nothing else matters, just you, the one you’re with, and the miles ahead.
