Barely Legal – The Asylum Home Entertainment

Ah The Asylum, they know how
to make a good entertaining movie and Barely Legal one of their latest release
this year and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. It’s a teen sex comedy and those
have been going on for years and Barely Legal is right up with the best of
them. It’s about 3 girls Sue, Cheryl and Lexi who are all freshmen in college want
to loose their virginity on their 18th birthday. You see they
celebrate their birthday each year by doing something special and this year
they want to lose it. The film is well acted, very funny, there are scenes
where you won’t stop laughing, it’s well shot, and the film looks great. The girls
in the lead roles, are all very likable on screen and give their characters
that comic touch their roles. Like all teen sex comedies, it gets a bit raunchy
in places. I thought this movie was a lot of fun, got a real kick out of the 3
girls and their quest to loose it.  The
strongest out of the three of them was Melissa Johnston who played the
character Sue, the devout Christian, she just gives it the right amount of edge
and honesty to the role. I can see her having a very successful career in Hollywood. If this is one
of her first leading roles, I for one can’t wait to see what she does next. If you
love teen sex comedies you can’t go wrong with Barely Legal it’s a real hoot.
