Anon Islet’s own Glasfrosch will team up with the incredible chamber orchestra Arcko Symphonic Ensemble for a very special event, TWO WORLDS. An orchestral adaptation of Glasfrosch’s music will be showcased, as well as performances from Silo String Quartet, A Lonely Crowd (acoustic set) and Arcko Symphonic Ensemble who will present a set of new compositions. The two worlds of new classical music and indie rock/pop rarely collide and yet why? Both push the boundaries of sound, form and instrumentation and in this unique collaboration you’ll find there’s more in common than meets the eye.
A night such as this can’t go undocumented, so Anon Islet Records in conjunction with Arcko Symphonic Ensemble are raising some money to make a short film that documents the process in piecing together an orchestral adaptation of some of Australia’s most innovative rock talent.
