| JESSY HOPE |HAWKE’S BAY SONGWRITER RELEASES HEARTFELT NEW SINGLE + VIDEO ‘SEE THE LOVE’

  Jessy Hope has just released his emotionally charged debut single and music video ‘See The Love’, which was premiered exclusively via The AU Review.

Jessy wrote to the song after tragically losing his brother to suicide and urges listeners to ‘See The Love’ all around them. The heartfelt single contains a message of hope and guidance for people across the globe battling with mental illness.  

Jessy Hope hails from the beautiful Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Growing up, Jessy played multiple instruments in various musical groups all through his schooling life and discovered a love for writing/performing his own songs towards the end of high school.  With Jessy’s piano studies exceling he found a real passion for writing songs based at the piano. His influences for writing soulful music are Elton JohnJohn LegendThe Beatles and Adele

Earlier in the year Jessy travelled to LA to record a series of demos at the famousSunset Sound recording studio. The sessions resulted in the conception of his debut single.

 Sunshine Coast outfit Flaskas have released their new single ‘Songbird’ and have announced a massive run of tour dates to celebrate.  They will be appearing at a number of festivals on the run, including the Airlie Beach Festival Of Music and the Agnes Blues, Roots and Rock Festival

 Flaskas have evolved into one of Australia’s most exciting live acts. Since forming they have shared the stage with luminaries such as Ash GrunwaldBoy & BearTijuana CartelThe Black Sorrows and many more.  Their sound is defined as ‘Earth Rock’: an organic blend of alternative world, coastal and Indigenous music that fuses the high-powered spirits of roots, funk, folk and blues. Set in motion by singer-songwriter Chris Flaskas, Earth Rock delivers thoughtful, philosophical lyrics in an orchestration of contemporary and native Australian instruments. The band’s debut album ‘Kingdom Come’ spawned two incredible singles that found a welcome reception on MTVTriple J, and over 50 radio stations worldwide.
