New Music Wednesday

Time For Yourself, the new album from Scenic Route to Alaska, traverses over a raging river of mixed emotions. From love songs to longing, contemplative angst and heartbreak, the record takes you on an introspective journey without making you question your entire existence…. unless you want to.

Title track, “Time For Yourself,” is a tongue-in-cheek, borderline sassy rock and roll tune about breaking down old habits and stubborn barriers in order to show yourself some love and self care.

Brisbane based Rapper Tu P has just released his powerful new album ‘Agenda’. The album focuses on a plethora of hard-hitting issues facing humanity in 2020.

Tu P is a second generation Vietnamese Australian who also works as a doctor in family and mental health. His music examines political and health issues in a bio-psychosocial framework. He has witnessed the struggles of humanity first hand, documenting his experiences via the medium of Hip Hop.

In his career to date he has performed shows in Brisbane, Sydney, London and New York. He has headlined Rhyme, Rhythm and Reason and has been a panel member at the Pho’nomenal BrisAsia Festival and Inter-Asia Pop Studies conference at Monash University.

Tu P released his single and video ‘Save Our Seas’ featuring Mark SickmindMei Lee and Petrofsky late last year. The video gained over 1.6 million views on Facebook and was aired on radio across Australia. New album ‘Agenda’ is available on all major online stores.
