His His is the project of Toronto-based artist Aidan Belo. Combining delicate guitar lines with simple yet thoughtful vocals, Belo created this project as an outlet after relocating to his family’s hobby farm outside of the city in an attempt to evoke something rural and honest.

New single, “Sweet Company,” was inspired by the passing of Belo‘s grandmother. It took a while to grasp and understand her death, but this song is an acceptance of what happened, a thank you to his grandmother for her presence and everything that she did, and that perhaps one day they’ll see each other again.

With a lustrous R&B infused jazz sound, songwriter and performing artist Seyblu represents a diverse femme community with a fierce fashion sense and enchanting live show.

On her upcoming Silk Sessions EP, Seyblu embarked on a cabin retreat with producer SLWJMZ (Saukrates, Clear Mortifee, Boy Pape). Complete with a wilderness soundscape of birds, insects and rain as the backdrop, Seyblu brings romantic imagery to life through vulnerable lyrics, sultry R&B melodies, and sparkly vocal layers.

The EP’s first single, “Feel It Too,” is based on a romantic evening where Seyblu‘s partner put on a beautiful song, lit some candles, and the two slow danced in her little Queen West apartment.

| COUNTING SILENCE |MELBOURNE ALT ROCKERS RELEASE DEBUT EP ‘FARADAY’

Melbourne-based alternative rockers Counting Silence have unleashed their dynamic new EP, ‘Faraday’ – which features the debut single of the same name. The EP was recently premiered via AAA Backstage.
‘Faraday’ is a collection of diverse rock tracks that build, twist and turn. They hold a sense of curiosity. And they display a style that’s dynamic, heavy and complex, but also uniquely approachable. It’s a style that Counting Silence are making their own.

The band brings together four life-long musicians who want to write music that’s free from limitations and genre stereotypes. Singer Chris Fullwood, guitarist Wayne Bauman, bassist Eric Stock and drummer John Rankin want to engage and surprise fans of heavy, melodic music. And they’ve got the musicianship, experience and passion to do just that.

The band recently premiered the EP’s title track, ‘Faraday’, via The Music, and it has since been aired on more than 50 radio stations across Australia, including Triple M.“It lulls you into a vibe… and then just smacks you in the face!”
Dave ‘Higgo’ Higgins – Triple M

Counting Silence’s debut EP ‘Faraday’ is available for download and streaming on all major online platforms.
