New Music

From garage rock to country and folk, Canadian singer-songwriter Jay Swinn has never been afraid to explore different styles and genres. Having spent the last decade playing piano sideman and session-man to songwriters such as Al Tuck, Corin Raymond, Young Guv, and more, Jay Swinn only began releasing music under his own name last year.

New single, “Empty Bottle,” is about anyone who’s stared at an empty bottle around twilight. About life’s ups and downs. Staying up late can nearly ruin your life if you let it. It’s like being a kid all over again! Get to bed…

| M HOFMANN |SYDNEY BASED INDIE ROCK ARTIST RELEASES NEW SINGLE + VIDEO ‘FEEL THE FIRE’ + LAUNCH SHOW + ANNOUNCES UPCOMING ALBUM RELEASE

Sydney based Indie Rocker M. Hofmann has just released his new single and music video Feel The Fire. The single is the first offering from his forthcoming debut album called Lavender Sleeping, which is set for release on April 16.

Hofmann will celebrate the release with a single launch at Petersham Bowling Club on March 25.

Feel The Fire is upbeat and plays like something that Bryan Adams and John Squire may have shared guitar duties on. The single speaks of a person who is experiencing a shift in their worldviews, and is questioning what they once thought was true.

M. Hofmann debuted in 2020 with the release of his single You Don’t Have To Say. He then followed up with the release of singles Not There Yet and Dead And Gone. The releases secured positive reviews from Triple J and placed the talented songsmith on the map.

Hofmann recently bunkered down in the studio with fellow collaborators Tim McArtney and Charlie Finn to record his debut album Lavender Sleeping, which was mostly tracked live. The album is peppered with nostalgia and self-reflection. Hofmann’s songs focus on themes of relationships, grief, and the rippling effects of mental health, all set to a classic Heartland Rock/Americana soundscape; where 80’s guitar tones blend with synthesizers and organs, and a harmonica can be heard echoing in the distance.

New single Feel The Fire is available on all major online stores.
