African singer, producer and DJ Juliet Ariel connects with French producer Karim Naas on ’11:11′, out now via Paraíso Records, a hypnotic Afro House release that brings together rhythmic momentum, melodic songwriting and a deeply personal sense of atmosphere.
Born in Kinshasa, raised in Paris and now based in Australia, Juliet’s multicultural background informs a sound that moves naturally between Afro House and pop, balancing introspection with an instinct for accessible, memorable melodies. Her growing catalogue has now surpassed 30 million streams, with breakthrough releases including ‘Take Me With You’, which has generated more than 65,000 Shazams, and ‘Holiday’ helping to establish her as an increasingly visible voice within the global electronic landscape.
Her collaborative reach has further expanded that profile. Working alongside artists and producers including Amapiano heavyweight Soa Mattrix, Palm Brothers, Karim Naas, Burssbrain and SiGNAL, Juliet has demonstrated a versatile vocal identity and a songwriting approach capable of moving fluidly across the evolving African electronic music space. Her collaboration with Soa Mattrix on ‘Africa’ also sparked significant social momentum, generating more than 15,000 TikTok creations, while editorial support has included Apple Music’s Africa Rising, Spotify’s New in Amapiano and the #1 position on Deezer’s Chill House playlist.
Based between London and Paris, Karim Naas is a producer, songwriter and DJ working across Afro House, disco house and dance. His records are emotionally driven and built to work two ways at once—for radio and playlists, and for a dancefloor. With around a million monthly listeners on Spotify and millions of streams over recent months, his recent run was led by ‘Samba’ (feat. ZHIKO), which charted on Beatport and picked up tens of thousands of Shazams. His releases continue to earn key editorial backing across Spotify (Feeling Great!, Dance Brandneu, New Dance Revolution), YouTube Music (Disco 2026), and radio support across Europe.

Melbourne based musical dreamers The Hunter Express have unveiled their highly anticipated new EP called ‘Gold Fades’, which premiered exclusively via
The AU Review.
‘Gold Fades’ was recorded with producer Gormie (Angie McMahon, Stella Mozgawa) and seamlessly balances raw vulnerability with rich sonic exploration, chronicling a powerful emotional journey through love, grief, and resilience. The EP blends warm Indie Folk/Alt Country storytellingwith dark Post Punk vibes and immersive Dream Pop soundscapes.
The Hunter Expressreleased their sublime single called ‘Over Everything‘ in July this year, which premiered exclusively via The AU Review. The single was the first offering from their new EP. ‘Over Everything’ received airplay on the likes of Triple J (Country Club), Triple J Unearthed (Slow Burn) and was added to rotation on ABC Country.
They quickly followed up with the release of single ‘May’, which was aired on Saturday Night Country and Grass Roots via ABC Country. Most recently, the band dropped their final single from the EP in the form of hard-hitting track ‘Easier’. The single premiered exclusively via Backseat Mafia and was aired on well over 50 radio stations nationwide.
New EP, ‘Gold Fades’, is available on all major online streaming platforms.
“Fierce, empowering, gentle, staunch and delicately crafted songwriting delivered by one of the finest voices in the country…”
Kath Devaney – Triple J Unearthed
“Opening with just Brad’s emotive vocals and guitar, the track feels immediately intimate, before gradually blooming into something richer and more expansive, fleshed out with gorgeous musicianship from a band that has been orbiting the project for close to a decade.”
Bruce Baker – The AU Review
“Ellis’s vocals are deep and sonorous, imbued with an insouciance and swagger, while circular synth riffs stab and dance in the ether. It’s an enigmatic delight. It’s the sound of a band who’ve spent close to a decade orbiting the same project, following its own gravity rather than a formula — intimate at first, then gradually widening out until it’s carrying the full weight of the band behind it.”
Arun Kendall – Backseat Mafia
“‘Easier’ has all the bite, uneasiness, and groove of ‘With Teeth’-era Nine Inch Nails, with a 70s lo-fi twist. The dark drums and bass strut beneath unsettling synths, laying the bed for The Hunter Express to deliver an almost Lou Reed-like vocal take — sedated, yet vicious.”

Earlier this year, Lucy released her single, Little Ol’ Me, the first offering from her latest EP. The single premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage and secured widespread community and independent radio support worldwide. She followed with her single and music video, One Way Track, which premiered exclusively via The AU Review. Her final pre-release single from the EP, Good Ol’ Days, and its accompanying video premiered via Scenestr.
Her latest EP, Meet Me There, followed in May, ushering in a new creative era defined by organic instrumentation and contemporary warmth. The Meet Me There EP is available via all major streaming services.
“Good Ol’ Days is positive synthpop, wrapped together with a stylish rhythm that radiates positive feels. Lucy’s clean, crystal-clear vocals highlight the song, uplifting the soul with her inclusiveness, almost as if she’s singing to you directly.”
Gareth Bryant – Scenestr
“A smooth, late-night groove wrapped in cinematic warmth, One Way Track leans into a hazy trip hop palette — all warm synths, understated beats and a vocal that drifts effortlessly through the mix. There’s a quiet confidence in Burke’s delivery here, one that draws you in slowly before revealing the emotional weight beneath its cool exterior.”
