“ Peking ” has been crawling in people’s eardrums and getting stuck in heads, appearing all over Triple J, being added to high rotation and featuring on the Triple J Unearthed Mix Tape.  Now it’s time for the visual to be blurred into ones eyeballs.

 

Peking’s film clip was released this week, starring beautiful duo Ella Markovich and Liam Burke and featuring one undisclosed Brisbane city rooftop.

 

Brilliantly directed by Andrew MacDonald, Jakarta Criers debut film clip perfectly reflects the lyrical mood and musical feelings, allowing the content of both audio and visual to compliment each other.

Having recently played with the likes of The Griswolds, Battleships and Oceanics it’s no wonder they took out the Valley Fiesta’s ‘Local Love Competition’.  With over 100 entries and 2 weeks of tough judging and public voting Jakarta Criers were selected to receive the last spot of the Valley Fiesta lineup and playing the main stage at Brisbane ’s biggest street party.  It will see the band play with a host of other bands including, Deep Sea Arcade , Flume, Violent Soho, The Medics and Arrested Development.

 

Jakarta Criers single ‘ Peking ‘ is now just as easy on the eyes as it is on the ears.
