Interview With Cynthia Popper By Chris 14/7/07
Cynthia Popper is favorite of mine here at Parx-e.
She is a freelance writer and a model.
She is very smart and also very attractive
Wanted to interview again as she a fav and here it is so read

1. What have you been up to since the last interview?

It’s been a while since we’ve chatted! Let’s see… I’m a freelance writer now, focusing on travel and guide books. I’ve traveled all over the place this year. I just returned from Bombay India, and going to Dubai to hang out in a few days!

2. Have you done much modeling work lately?

Yeah– but mostly clothed… I’ll be on the cover of a Canadian Technology magazine in August and have worked with some bigger names like Kraft Foods and Williams Sonoma. And yes, I’ve done a bit more for Playboy, but that has been more appearance-related.

3. What commercial work like compared to doing stuff like Playboy?

Commercial shoots go very quickly. They’re certainly enjoyable and they often pay great, but the glamour girl stuff that Playboy puts out is so much fun! What girl doesn’t like big hair, makeup and lingerie?

4. Have you done much work with Playboy lately?

They’ve asked me to come to an appearance in Las Vegas, which sounds like it could be fun, and yeah— the Mansion Party last fall was awesome!

5. What was it like being a painted girl for one of the Mansion Party’s?

It’s a cool thing to have on my modeling resume, I have to say. If you’ve watched “The Girls Next Door” you’ll know that Brian, the Head Butler, is always running things at the mansion. He took photos of me for Hef’s personal collection! The party was crazy: rap stars, models, athletes… Kendra (Hef’s Girl) and Jenna Jameson were there too.

6. What is the Mansion like?

It’s very cool. They have a zoo and a gorgeous pool area. The Grotto was fun too…um, that’s all I’m saying.

7. Met Hef yet?

Hef has been to a couple of events I have been at but we’ve never been introduced. He’s usually pretty popular and I get shy when he’s around.

8. What was like to see yourself on a cereal box?

Weird. I was just at the store and the clerk always says “You’re still up there”. It was especially weird when I went to Mexico and saw rows of my face on the back of a display…. I stood by it to see if anyone would notice. (They did.)

9. What are commercial jobs have you done lately?

I worked with a child recently for a shoot for Williams Sonoma— it was very G rated and fun. That and the tech cover are the big ones. I’m focusing mostly on writing these days, but the odd cool modeling gig always crops up!

10. Would you ever like to get into acting?

Not anymore. When I was a kid I wanted to act because I wanted to be famous, but now I’d work in TV if it were the right project, but not as an actor.

11. Would you ever like to host your own show?

That I could do. Fashion, food, travel: all things I love! Maybe someday— who knows?

12. Who would you most like to work with?

Anyone really talented and smart. I’d love to meet Al Gore—his cable network (Current TV) is based here in San Francisco. I’ve thought about hanging out and seeing if I could meet him, but my guess is he’s pretty busy. I think Michael Moore is a brave soul and a good journalist– I’d love to produce for him.

13. Which models do you look up to?

My favorite model right know is Adrianna Lima. She’s super hot. I don’t know that I look up to any models, but there are many that I think are drop dead gorgeous!

14. Have you had any bad feedback?

Definitely. Playboy causes a lot of attention in your life. Mostly good, some bad. People lose their jobs from posing, people get judged quickly. I think it’s important to remember that if you put yourself out there as a model, or TV correspondent, people will react to you. And if you do any of it without clothes on, be ready for strong reactions!

15. Which Magazine would you most like to be on the cover for?

I’d love to do a super sexy cover for a Boy’s mag like FHM but really, being asked to do a cover of just about anything is very flattering.

16. What kinda shoot would most not do?

I’d never do anything more risque than Playboy. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just not for me.

17. Do you think the Internet has helped you get Jobs?

Yes— it’s easy to send a portfolio over the web— book gigs, etc.

18. What is on your stereo at the moment?

On my laptop I’m listening to the Soundtrack for ‘The Last Kiss” (US version, not Italian version)

19. What movies you have seen lately you have really enjoyed?

I just saw Sicko—great. Also saw a movie about the Iraq war entitled “Why We Fight” both very informative. I love Kung Fu too… so I have a few of those coming!

20. If you could be in a music video who’s would it be?

That’s a tough one. Probably someone cool and rockstar and funny— Tenacious D!!! That would be awesome!

21. Who has helped you out the most?

Besides me? My Dad. He rocks.
