Yesterday’s Kids
Tim From Yesterday’s Kids Answers Parx-e Questions
1. how did the the yesterday’s kids form?
Justin and I (tim) were in the same band in high school. After that ended
(graduation day) both of us had a bunch of songs written that we decided to
record with each other. We needed someone to play the drums so we called
our friend Joe Schmidt to do it. We really liked how the songs turned out
so we asked our friend JonE (of teenage rejects/catholic boys) to play bass
and started playing shows under the name Amazing Larry.
2. who were your major influnces?
It’s hard to say. I think the major influences of YK change from time to
time. The constant ones are Beatles, Ramones, Early Police, Replacements,
Undertones and Tom Petty.
3. what has been your favourite gig you have played?
We played an in store acoustic show the night the “can’t hear nothin'”

great show was the last time we played in Green Bay with Mystery Girls and
Cherry Valance.
