This year has been fun, I went overseas to America. Saw loads of cool people who I was truly grateful for their time and hanging with me. Here is the list.

Person to watch out for in 2024 – Michelle Ellen Jones

Michelle Ellen Jones is one of my all-time favourite people interviewed on my site. I have met her twice now and she always really lovely to me. Not only that super accommodating when it comes to hanging out and finding a place that works for both of US which is amazing. Michelle has done some amazing stuff this there like she is a professor for one thing, But she has also started doing body building competitions where she truly shined. You can see how incredible she looks right here

Still, doing amazing stuff as an actor. This year she has done quite a bunch of modelling jobs this year. Where all her fitness training has truly paid off. You can see the hard work she has achieved this year.

To me she always looks amazing even when I interviewed her this year in her training outfit after one of her pageant coaching sessions. She still looked incredible. She an incredible woman who keeps continuing to impress

CJ Burnett – Heat in the Streets

Technically this came out last year in December but my best of list was up then and didn’t want to break rule and add another entry. But this is a solid Synthwave album worthy of your time.

Rival Sons – Darkfighter

Rival Sons are back with another killer rock and roll album. Worthy of your ears.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – Council Skies

This serious a great album by Noel, Songs are well written and produced. It’s always nice to have new music from Noel

Codeseven – Go Let It In

Long before I had access to things like Paypal and a card to purchase stuff on the net. I came across Codeseven which I totally loved the moment I heard them. I managed to get their album The Rescue from Real Groovy in NZ and loved it. Now this is their new album and it’s a really great album from them being away for so long. The production, everything is great. So stoked they are back.

September 87 – Room Service

Great song, great clip and having Mark Seymour sing on the track a nice touch.

Gigs

Well all the gigs I went to in America were excellent. Seeing Katie Cole play twice was awesome. Finally meeting Amanda Rogers and seeing her play live with Jonah Matranga on the same bill was awesome.

Dakota East

I saw Dakota East play again this year and a small cool little record shop on Sydney Rd Ringo Barr in Melbourne and it was great. She a fantastic singer songwriter.

Michelle Baena

Meeting Michelle was a dream come true. Apparently I told her meeting her was a bucket list moment. She is a total sweetheart, just a joy to hang with. She totally rocks. She was very accommodating with her time and working out a day that worked. The day trip to San Diego was totally worth it.

Amanda Webster

I’ve known Amanda for a long time now and was finally great to meet her on my birthday which was fun.

Joe Grisaffi

Joe is such a talented actor, writer and director. He is always great fun to be around with. Just a genuine guy with great stories to tell.

Hilary Kennedy

Hilary is one of my favourite people ever. Always a joy when we get to hang out. She showed me where she worked. Plus she Took me out for lunch then we did an interview great day.

Veronica McCluskey

Veronica was great to catch up with again. We went to my favourite bar in Nashville HiFi Clyde’s then went and saw my friend Katie Cole play.

Michelle Crupi

Seeing Michelle again is always great. We hanged out in New York City and was a lot of fun.

Caity Lynn

We were meant to hang out, never worked out but she is still an amazing lady.

Haydn Porter

One of my favourite people I have interviewed on the site and she always was really lovely to me which is nice.

Laura Ellington – The Southern Loom/Wild Flower Swimwear

Laura continues to impress with both her businesses The Southern Loom which sells rugs and Wild Flower Swimwear which sells Swimwear she has designed herself. She deserves the success coming her way.

Dakota East

Dakota East is a country singer songwriter from here in Melbourne and is a name to watch out for. She has got a great voice and truly does deliver with her songs.

Kara Connolly

An amazing singer songwriter as well as an actor. We were meant to hang out but timing and so on. Never worked out but I love what she does and will always have my support.

Destiny Love

Destiny Love is still one of my all time favourite people interviewed on my site. She phenomenal at all she does. She a fantastic singer. She speaks well on the all the events that she does. You can see and hear the passion through out all she does.

Alli Walker

Alli Walker gonna be one of the next big things in country music. She got the talent to go very far. She has started playing more shows outside of Canada and people are taking notice.

Amanda Jordan

Amanda Jordan is a fantastic Canadian country singer songwriter as well as being an amazing actor. She is doing great at both and another talent who is gonna take the world by storm.

Jordy Benattar

Jordy an amazing singer songwriter amongst other stuff. Plus doing cool stuff with public speaking.

Katie Laurel Smith

I put together a giveaway compilation CD of my favourite songs of hers. She is a phenomenal musician and life coach.

If you know me, I love tech gadgets and these are the ones that I think are excellent this year. Please note I am not getting paid to say this, just think these are awesome.

Tozo Golden X1

Really good true wireless earbuds. Good noise cancellation. High quality sound and very easy to use. Charges quickly. If you want an alternative to the market leader, I recommend these.

Dell UltraSharp 4K Webcam

Now this is a webcam. The quality of the footage this produces is excellent. Has a high end Sony sensor. Really good face tracking abilities as it will move when you move. This is now part of my video content production. When I first tested it, I was like wow this is amazing.

Affinity Photo

Since leaving a few years back from the market leading software of this kind. Affinity Photo I use on an almost daily basis for all my graphic work for all my various projects I do. It’s an excellent piece of software. For what I do, it just delivers.

Monster Type C To Type C Braided Cable 1.2m

Monster is known for their HDMI Cables as well as there power boards. Now these days have licensed their brand name out. Now Tempo in Australia has licensed it. I picked this cable up fairly recently and it’s a really good cable. Well built with a 5 year warranty. But what really impressed me that it offers quick charging , with the right power brick that supports PD Delivery (for example my Otterbox Type C 30watt Gan Charger) I can have my phone charged in no time. Good work Tempo it is a good cable. Hope more stores will stock it.
