1. How what was the inspiration for the album?

The inspiration for this album started when my buddy Jason Pickering invited me up to his house by the Tweed River in Northern NSW

2. How was the recording process for the album like?

It was pretty basic, mainly just me at home fiddling around, that type of recording.

3. How was it different to previous releases?

The last record (Big World) was recorded in NZ and in the end there was quite a few people involved, which I enjoyed, I was a bit of a passenger actually, that wasn’t a bad thing though.

4. What was the inspiration behind the clip Many People I Know?

I went to the director with the idea of doing something quite quickly, something that wouldn’t eat into his schedule too much, and he came up with the idea of shooting the city completely empty, as lonely as possible. it took quite a bit of time in the end, but a great process..

5. What inspires you now as a songwriter?

That is changing all time. I do find when I hear great music that a buddy of mine has made, It is quite inspiring.

6. What has been your favorite show to date?

Cafe Galao in Stuttgart, Germany

7. How does social networking help you as an artist?

It obviously makes things quite instant, and that is very handy.  It’s good to find a line in the sand though also I reckon, especially as a solo artist.

8. How important is connecting with your fans?

I think it’s very important. the only way is to be out on the road hanging out at shows

9. If you could have anybody in a video clip who would it be?

Christopher Walken

10. What is next for yourself?

An Australian tour in April

11. What does 2013 mean to you?

Dreaming of a Night Mango
