The Solicitors – Made To Measure EP Review

The Solicitors – Made To Measure (Popboomerang Records/MGM Distribution)

The Solicitors are a fun Melbourne pop power band and this is their debut ep Made To Measure, and this is a solid EP and shows off good this band is and why you need to check them out. Pretty Penny opens with a catchy pop tune that shows off the band in full, solid songwriting, vocals and musicianship. I Love Your Love follows it on with another catchy tune that shows off the vocals and musicianship of the band. DDT is more of a less catchy tune but some what laid back vibe to it. Back Of My Hand is a cover originally done by The Jags and it’s a good cover. Fleeting Is Believing finishes off the EP well with a pop tune that has the sensibilities of blues tune. The way the song is performed and structured. This is a solid debut EP, the songs are catchy and well written, production is the artwork is top notch. Love the way it was done. These guys have got some cool going on here and it’s worth checking out, get to the record store and discover this cool Aussie band.
