ON CHRISTMAS EVE, THE NEVER EVER RELEASE THE LOST TRACK FROM THEIR BREATHE EP
A new single – “DÉJÀ VU”
1. Sydney synthpop band, The Never Ever have announced they will be releasing the lost track from their recent Breathe EP. The single was dropped from the EP after deciding to keep the “Breathe” EP as a solid energetic upbeat aggregation. The exclusion of the Déjà vu track was an over sensitivity for lead singer Dylan Nash who describes the work as his most meaningful to date. Nash describes the track as the most mature Never Ever composition, both musically and lyrically and is reflective of “how much can change in one year”.

3. The Déjà vu single (MGM) is set for a Christmas Eve release digitally via iTunes and is different to anything we’ve seen from the band before and does not follow the usual trademark high energy driving power pop, rather featuring acoustic instruments layered over the usual elements.
Déjà vu features strong pop melodic sensibilities, crisp vocal harmonies and economical arrangements and features a stripped back and honest Never Ever.
The summer release rounds up a tremendous year for The Never Ever who have graced stages across the nation on headling tours and with the likes of Simple Plan, We The Kings and Yellowcard.
On full throttle for the past six months, the band have been showcasing songs from the “Breathe” EP, including SOLD OUT shows in Sydney and Perth and have appeared on Stay Tuned, Studio 3, ABC 3, Toasted TV, the Saturday Disney Show and appeared in Dolly Magazine, Girlfriend Magazine, Girl Power, DMAG, Blunt, Girl Power and Poster Queen publications.
Supporting Simple Plan didn’t just put The Never Ever in front of some of the biggest crowds of their career. It also led to a chance meeting with Pete from Epik Films, the man the band enlisted to direct and produce the latest music video for the band and their ‘Breathe’ title track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVj9W8AN6PY&feature=fvsr
The Never Ever will be hitting stages in support of Déjà vu in January with the Diviney band:
January 5 The Old Museum Brisbane
January 12 The Lair Sydney
January 19 Ding Dong Lounge Melbourne
This track is greater than mere psychology. The illusion of having previously experienced something actually being encountered for the first time …. It’s here …. It’s near and it’s coming to you. Experience The Never Ever, experience Déjà vu.
