Sunshine Coast based Indie Rock legends Swimsuit Issue have released their highly anticipated debut album called ‘Burn Of The Buzz’. The album will be the first official release for newly established Australian Indie music label Bueno Bueno Sounds.
The band have also announced a run of tour dates to celebrate the release.
Half of the eclectic album was tracked live at Yama Nui on the Sunshine Coast with Steve Summers and Paulie B (George, Ziggy Alberts, Bobby Alu) and the other half was self-produced by the band. The album also features musicians such as Dorah Jacson and Jye Perry Banks (Fender, Stetson, Charlie Collins, Lee Kernighan, Kasey Chambers.)
Swimsuit Issue have had a huge year so far, releasing their new singles ‘Addict’, ‘The Feeling’, ‘Hit It With You’ and ‘This Is The End’. All singles have been extremely well received, with selected tracks gaining airplay on Triple J, Triple M and many other radio stations around the world. The releases have secured positive coverage via Tone Deaf, Heavy Mag, Rock Lives Here, Scene Zine and many more.
“This one is so endearing!”
