Sydney based Indie Folk artist Steph Wood has just released her debut single called ‘Ballerina’, which was premiered via AAA Backstage.
The heartfelt new single explores the feelings of chasing unrequited love and the heartache that comes with feeling like you’re continuously morphing yourself into the person they desire, only to discover that that will never be the case.
Steph Wood creates a melancholic and mesmerising brand of Indie Folk. Her vulnerable storytelling is paired with infectious melodies that will burrow their way into your mind’s eye. The talented singer/songwriter has spent the past several years securing a degree in Songwriting and Music, whilst cutting her teeth in venues throughout Sydney.
Steph Wood recently teamed up with producer Tim McArtney (Lisa Mitchell, Gurrumul, Gang of Youths, and Jarryd James) to record her debut single.
