1. Are you happy how things have gone for the band so far?
Yeah its been great, getting a lot air play for my single, and the shows are going well
2. What inspires the band when writing music?
Everything, everything around me, just stuff I see or do, or stories I hear. I just store them up in my head til I need an idea J
3. What is your latest song about?
“He must of cried” Is about a murder that happened in my home town, and I remember reading about it and it kind of thru me off my whole day and so I wrote the words down and I didn’t’ use them til like a year later
4. What do you like about touring?
Seeing different places, people, venues, all of it, except maybe getting bad coffee, I hate it if I get a bad coffee on the road, because I can’t turn back man
5. How important you is touring regional alongside touring the cities?
I think its something every band should do, a lot of small towns don’t have many bands or venues playing live music, so its good to get out and give everyone a good time
6. What has been your favorite show to date?
Bendigo, that was awesome, it was the first show I had with a backing band for my solo stuff, and I wasn’t sure how it would go, but once we hit the stage, everyone just clicked. And also meeting a lot of local bands, they just love there music
7. How does social media help you as a band?
It’s a good tool for connecting with fans, keeping them up to date with videos, new songs, shows
But Im still getting the hang of it, you know cause you have to been so on to it, update this, update that, invite people to this, I’d rather someone else take care of that side, I just don’t want to push my music down people’s throat, “Like my band man” haha
8. How important is connecting with your fans?
I think its always important to connect with your fans, even if its only the same two people that come down and watch you every weekend, those guys will be spreading your music around, also its always fun talking to people that enjoy your music, why wouldn’t you try and connect with them?
9. If you could have any body in a video clip who would it be?
Well I wanted to get Corey Feldman in my first video, I’m a huge Lost Boys fan, he didn’t return my calls hehe
10. What’s your favorite venue to play at?
In Melbourne we always have a great time at the Brunswick Hotel, but The Overlander Hotel in Shepparton, its my home town, but they just really want the band to party haha
11. What does 2014 have in store for the band?
Finish off this tour, back into the studio to record a few more songs, another tour hehe I’m hoping to get up to Adelaide& Perth this time. Also working on some short films for a couple friends, we have a couple ideas we have been kicking around for way too long,
