Sydney based Indie Electronic artist Nikkita Ra has unveiled her new single and music video ‘747’ (premiered via The AU Review.) Nikkita has also announced a run of tour dates to celebrate her new release. Described by others as “Bjork meets Pussy Riot“,Nikkita Ra defines her music as ‘Trip Disco’ – Trip Hop you can get sweaty to. A bit saintly smooth, a bit punk, Nikkita transitions between slick raps and airy-tinged vocals over a backbeat of electronic and acoustic live drums, samples, synthesizer and bass. Nikkita Ra debuted with the release of single and video ‘Unity’. The single received positive reviews from Triple J presenters and gained airplay on ABC Rage. Previously front woman of all girl riot squad She Rex, Nikkita Ra has an “electrifying stage presence” (Indie Shuffle.) Her first single and music video ‘Unity’ was “utterly engrossing” (Pilerats). The multi-talented songstress has been bunkering down in the studio working on her new EP, which is due for release in 2020. New single and music video ‘747’ is available for download on all major online stores.
