Melbourne based Goth Pop songstress Babalon has just released her new single and music video ‘Dark Lady’. The video was recently premiered via AAA Backstage.

‘Dark Lady’ reveals the insidious nature of emotional and psychological abuse, and the complexity of the resulting trauma (a shadow self or Dark Lady.)

Babalon’s work is a direct expression of her background in psychology and psychotherapy. Her music gives people the chance to self reflect and put blame where blame is due, giving survivors of trauma the chance for agency and greater possibilities in life.

Babalon released her debut album ‘Draconis’ in 2020. The album is a vast soundscape that entrances listeners from start to finish. 

The multitalented songwriter recently released her single and music video called ‘Scream’. The video was premiered via The Music, and received coverage from Clipped TV, Australian Musicians Radio, Subculture Entertainment, AMNplify and many more.
