Singer-songwriter Steve Neville (formerly of The Balconies) is a cancer survivor and reconnecting Métis musician. He was rushed to hospital emergency in February 2021 after a period of rapidly declining health, diagnosed with leukemia and immediately began treatment.

Steve shares his experiences of fear, sadness, love, and hope on his debut solo LP, OFF TRACK, produced by Liam Jaeger.

His new single, “bitter taste,” captures a dreamy state that oscillates between light and darkness. I woke here, alone in bed. I couldn’t stand the loneliness so I thought of you instead. At times of isolation, Steve drew inner strength from imagining his partner, who was a constant resource to regain courage and the drive to beat his illness.

Melbourne based singer/songwriter Mike Talisman has just released his debut singled called ‘Due Time’. 

Talisman teamed up with ARIA award winning producer Troy Brady (Amity Affliction) to record his heartbreaking debut single, which tells the story of the day he lost his father. 

Mike Talisman forges together elements of Country, Pop and Alternative to create his earnest brand of music that will tug at your heartstrings. He has been writing and performing music since a very young age, joining his first band at age 12 after being inspired by his father’s outstanding record collection.

Growing up in the countryside at the base of the Grampians Mountain Ranges had a profound impact on Talisman and his writing. The troubadour eventually moved to Melbourne at age 18 to pursue his musical career.

Talisman then spent several years touring Australia and abroad with his previous band Red Beard, sharing the stage with the likes of The Getaway Plan, Art Vs Science, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Short Stack and Young Lions (just to name a few.)

After taking a hiatus from writing and releasing music for several years, Mike recently dusted off his guitar and began writing under his new moniker, whilst returning to his roots as a singer/songwriter.
