| THE WOLSTON BUTCHERS |BRISBANE PUNK LEGENDS RELEASE NEW SINGLE + VIDEO ‘BLOKES OF THE WORLD’ + ANNOUNCE FORTHCOMING EP Brisbane based Punk band The Wolston Butchers have just released their new single and music video called ‘Blokes Of The World’.
The single is the first offering from their forthcoming EP (set for release in early 2021.)
The Wolston Butchers artfully blend ‘Skate Punk’ sounds of the nineties with their unique and original brand of Hardcore music. With a tight yet chaotic, highly energetic and crowd engaging set, you definitely know when you’ve been to a Butchers gig.
The boys released their debut single ‘They Say’ in 2019 and soon followed up with the release of the ever-popular ‘Granny Flat EP’. The EP garnered positive reviews from critics and radio presenters, whilst helping the band to assist solid support slots with artists such as FANGZ.
The band recently teamed up with internationally acclaimed producer Troy Brady to record their new EP.
New single ‘Blokes Of The World’ is available for download on all major online stores.
Emi Jeen‘s songs tell a tale – at once hopeful and nostalgic; wistful and urgent; raw and graceful. The Montreal-based alt-pop artist shares her first EP entitled The Other Side featuring evocative new single, “Other Side,” a perfect showcase of her emotionally raw and powerful vocals.
Creating music is Emi Jeen‘s therapy. The Other Side EP talks about holding emotions inside until they explode (“Holy Water”), wanting to run away and start all over somewhere else (“Runaway”), the toxic relationships we encounter (“Keep Me in the Dark”), the confusion of loving two people at the same time (“No Way Out”) and the fact that she’s done being controlled by others (“Other Side.”)
Sam Lapro is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter that knows how to string together the right words to draw the emotion out of her listeners. Her songwriting gives the listener an opportunity to know her on an intimate level as her songs represent experiences she has had throughout her life so far.
Sam‘s new single, “Take My Heart,” is about feeling so deeply for someone but not knowing how to tell them.
Have you listened to “Booted Up” from Ottawa-based rapper and producer 404vincent.
Produced by Steezefield of 808 Mafia, the track carries a steady, distorted beat and flexes the 20-year-old’s lyrical prowess as he describes the therapeutic process of letting go of people and things that no longer serve you.
