Multidisciplinary, intercontinental collaborators, Riches (Catherine McCandless of Young Galaxy and choreographer Wynn Holmes) are back with “Shadow of You,” a slow motion, psychedelic piece of indie devotional music.
“Shadow of You” celebrates the entity and demon of Creation, serenading just how gorgeous, intoxicating, and potentially self destructive the compulsion of making art can be.
It’s a swoon worthy song of longing, tinged with vulnerability and fear. Sung from a particularly delicate place in McCandless‘ vocal range, “Shadow of You” speaks to the exalted state of the ever turning, unending ritual of creativity.
