| PEARL |SYDNEY BASED ALT POP ARTIST RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE ‘HONEYMOON SUITE’ 

Sydney based Alt Pop artist Pearl has released her infectious debut single called  ‘Honeymoon Suite’, which was premiered via AAA Backstage. 

“Honeymoon Suite is a song about the romance dying in a relationship. Once you take those rose coloured glasses off you realise you’ve invested in a human that didn’t deserve you and all you want is your money back.”

Pearl (formerly Pearl The Girl) creates an alluring brand of Pop music that will weave its way into your auditory cortex.

Over the past few years, Pearl has been releasing music under the moniker Pearl The Girl. She supported the likes of Pete Murray and Sloan Peterson, whilst touring around the world with artists such as Dune Rats and Wicked Things.

Feeling like she had outgrown her sound, Pearl recently entered the studio to create an entirely new musical project from scratch.

Brisbane based, New Zealand bred Hip Hop artist Cking has just released his new single and music video called ‘No Snakes’, which features NZ emcee Dilz. The release was premiered exclusively via Scenestr. 

Cking and Dilz each come lyrically strapped with passionate and emotive verses, matching the energy of the rapid-fire, earth-rattling production alongside them. The fierce new single is also paired with equally compelling visuals, extending the narrative of the record as it depicts a tale of trust lost and the cleansing of those that have wronged.

Visuals have always been an important and impressive aspect of Cking’s artistic process, and ‘No Snakes’ is no exception. The crisp, cinematic visuals take place in outback Australia and bring a twist of their own towards the end of the single – one that we won’t spoil for you here. As a performer, Cking has toured the country multiple times, most notably with US Internet sensation Futuristic. As well as a slew of headline shows, Cking has shared the stage with industry heavyweights including T-Pain, Drapht, Mobb Deep, Dune Rats, Kerser, Devin The Dude and many more.
