Los Angeles-based hyperpop producer and artist DANGER SPOON has released their electrifying new single, “icu <3”—a track that blurs the line between passion and peril. Equal parts unhinged and tongue-in-cheek, the song transforms obsessive love into a full-blown medical emergency, pulsing with chaotic energy and glitchy hyperpop production.

Fusing warped R&B grooves, industrial percussion, and the blown-out intensity of metalcore production, “icu <3” is a sonic rollercoaster. From its breathy, restrained verses to the explosive chorus—where emergency sirens wail and saw synths collide—the track captures the exhilarating rush of desire spiraling out of control.

While producing largely in isolation, an early demo of “icu <3” caught the ear of multi-platinum producer Jimmy Duval (XXXTentacion, Ski Mask the Slump God, Bryce Vine). His reaction—“That’s insane. You’re a beast.”—became a defining moment for DANGER SPOON.

Byron Bay Indie Folk songstress Shai Rose has just released her highly anticipated debut album ‘The Road’.

The story of ‘The Road’ speaks to anyone who’s had their heart broken and chose to get back on their feet without someone holding their hand. It speaks to anyone who stops looking for the answers externally, who dares to get lost in the dark to find the light again, on their own.

“The Road was born from a big break up, from a place of trying to find who I am without someone holding my hand. It’s an internal journey on an endless road between your heart and mind, trying to find who you are and who you want to be.”

The multitalented songstress released the first taste of her debut album last year in the form of single ‘Follow The Sun’ and has since followed up with singles ‘Long Ago’‘Broken Pieces’ and ‘No Escape’.

Shai Rose most recently released her intoxicating single ‘Lost’, which was the final installment from ‘The Road’. The single was premiered via AAA Backstage and has since aired on radio stations across the world.

“Lost is an ethereal ballad that gently weaves together soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. Hovering like a sunlit cloud, the track creates a dreamy, reflective atmosphere that draws listeners into its emotional depth.”

Zanski‘s latest single, “Canines,” is a haunting exploration of memory and self-doubt. With its melancholic mood and driving indie energy, the track captures the feeling of being caught in between moments—reminiscing on the past, but unsure whether those memories are truly accurate. The song’s lush instrumentation and experimental production reflect Zanski‘s ability to blend indie, alternative, and emotional undertones in a captivating way.

The title, “Canines,” plays on the imagery of baring teeth, a symbolic representation of confronting emotions and memories. With its raw, questioning tone, the song contemplates the idea of remembering an event or feeling with uncertainty—like a cliffhanger that leaves you wondering whether the memory is truly complete.

A standout element of the track is Zanski‘s unique mixing choices—quiet, intimate vocals pushed through tape saturation to create a warm, almost whispered sound. The song’s pulsating guitar riffs, which were processed through an array of pedals, add to the track’s layered, textured feel. Zanski also employed an alternate guitar tuning created by a close friend, which provided an unconventional foundation for the song’s composition.

Los Angeles-based dream pop band Nightjacket unveil their latest single, “My Only Heart,” an intimate and soaring love song that encapsulates the glow of devotion. A shimmering blend of ethereal guitars, lush synths, and heartfelt vocals, the track is a sonic love letter, exuding warmth, nostalgia, and undeniable romance.

Written by guitarist/vocalist Jordan Wiggins for his now-wife, Danielle, “My Only Heart” captures the exhilarating feeling of being completely known and loved by another person. With vocalist Andrea Wasse’s expressive voice at the helm, the song marries a grooving rhythm section with rich, swirling guitar textures, embodying both the brightness and grounding nature of true love.

Canadian musician Keegan Powell delivers a double dose of captivating soundscapes with the release of his latest singles, “Beginning of Life” and “My Maker.” With his band, The Jetpacks, Powell revisits these tracks from earlier phases of his career, reimagining them into their definitive forms. The result is a seamless blend of nostalgia and reinvention that captures the raw energy of their live performances.

Initially inspired by the mesmerizing “Eminence Front” by The Who, “Beginning of Life” took shape the night before a studio session. Originally recorded for his 2019 EP Is+Was, the track evolved over the years, with Powell describing it as “a blueprint for a song that would never end.” The band’s reprise of the track cements its place as an eternal, ever-evolving anthem.
