Melbourne based Singer/Songwriter Sunset Salore has released her highly anticipated debut EP called ‘Love Kills The Monsters’, which premiered via Scenestr.

She has also announced that she will be playing an EP launch show at Bergy Bandroom on Feb 1st 2025 alongside Kaiyah MercedesLili Violet and Gman.

‘Love Kills The Monsters’ is an eclectic collection of stories, glued together by funky basslines, sultry grooves and an Alternative Pop feel.

“This EP was the first time I felt ready to tell a story, and it was really cathartic, and quite reflective for me. It had been a hard few years. A number of things happened, including of course a global pandemic. I’d personally suffered with long-COVID, and other health complications arising from that which changed things for me.  I forced myself to embrace a brighter outlook, to work hard and enjoy that process, and through it to ultimately love and accept myself right now as is. That’s where the name comes from, the thought that maybe we can love our demons away – that Love can Kill the Monsters”.

Sunset Salore released her single ‘Call It’ in June, which was the first taste of her debut EP. The single was premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage and received airplay on radio stations across the globe. She then followed up with the release of her single ‘Mystery and Magic’, which premiered through The AU Review.

Sunset Salore has now unleashed her debut EP ‘Love Kills The Monsters’, which is available on all major streaming services.

“Call It is a powerful anthem of self-worth, capturing that pivotal moment when you decide you deserve better. Get ready to feel empowered by Sunset Salore’s bold and beautiful new sound. Keep an ear out for Love Kills the Monsters later this year – it’s a release you won’t want to miss.”
AAA Backstage

“With slick electronic production, layered and echoing chorus, it’s reminiscent of the mighty Florence + The Machine. There’s a vibrancy to her work that makes it so exciting. Sunset Salore has a knack for zeroing in the little things that define us.”

Newcastle based Punk Rock lords FIST have unleashed their debut album ‘Live Uncut Broke & Exhausted’, which premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage.

The blistering debut album was recorded entirely live at The Moshpit Bar in Sydney.

The band have also announced a run of local tour dates that kicks off on October 5th at The Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle.

Since their debut, FIST have been lucky enough to open Hellnation III, whilst performing at 107 Redfern for ‘Sydney Streets’ and knocking out a wild set at Fastlane Festival 2024 at The Brightside in Brissy.

Earlier this year FIST embarked on a self-described ‘Naht A Tour’ tacking 14,000km extra on the odometer across 3 states, playing 25 public shows and a bunch of private parties. The band’s first time on the road held massive highs and massive lows, between the robberies, heart attacks and near band-death experiences. Somehow the boys literally survived… broke and exhausted!

This inspired the band’s new debut album ‘Live Uncut Broke & Exhausted’, which is available now on all major streaming services.
