Naarm/Melbourne based Metalcore outfit Vault Hill have just dropped their visceral new EP called ‘Modern Way’, which premiered exclusively via
The AU Review. They have also released a killer new music video for EP track ‘Curlew’ featuring Ricky McCandlish of Saving Face.
The band have also announced that they will be ripping up the stage at The Retreat Hotel on November 20 alongside a killer line-up to celebrate the EP release.
Inspired by vocalist Morgan’s experiences living and working in the Northern Territory, ‘Modern Way’ reflects on the ongoing inequality faced by First Nations communities while paying tribute to the region’s unique beauty and harsh landscape.
Vault Hill combine modern Metalcore with the groove, aggression and intensity of bands such as Lamb Of God, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage and Everytime I Die. Known for their crushing riffs, relentless live shows and socially conscious songwriting, the band continue to establish themselves as one of Melbourne’s emerging heavy acts.
Vault Hill recently unleashed their single and video called ‘The Pain We Keep Alive’, which premiered exclusively via HEAVY Mag. The single received positive coverage from the likes of Learn Two Exist, AMNplify, Metal Roos, PBS FM and many more.
New EP ‘Modern Way’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services.

With 15 years of skin in the game, the best songs and show of his career comes Jack Biilmann with album #6 called ‘Move The Mountains’. This is a flowing narrative reflecting the perspective of a man in his mid-thirties navigating the life-altering changes and challenges typical of this period.
Themes of the outlaw state of mind, introspection, heartbreak, helplessness, betrayal, disappointment, love and appreciation weave through a neat 10-track LP. Biilmann’s signature vocal soar and guitar mastery remain prominent, supported by his loyal band: Jono Warren (drums), Pat Quinn Quirke (guitar) & Alec Coulson (Bass). Their creative input has elevated Biilmann’s writing & live show to the highest point of his career.
Biilmann has also announced that he will be gracing the stage at CMC Rocks Festival (2027) alongside heavyweights such as Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn and Ashley McBryde, just to name a few.
Jack Biilmann kicked off 2026 with the release of his single Outlaw, which quickly secured airplay on Double J (Tower Of Song) andABC Country (Saturday Night Country). He then followed up with the release of his single Forbidden Fruit. The single was premiered via Double J (Tower Of Song) and The AU Review, and has since been aired on well over 50 radio stations nation-wide.
June saw the release of single Never Have It All, which premiered via ABC Country and The AU Review. The single went on to gain further rotation on ABC Country (Saturday Night Country and Edge Of Country) and secured airplay on hundreds of stations worldwide. The single recently secured airplay on Triple J’s COUNTRY CLUB.
In July, Jack Biilmann dropped his introspective single called ‘Dark Days’, which quickly dominated the AMRAP Charts across the board, reaching #3 on the National Charts, #2 on the Regional Charts and #2 on the Country/Blues/Roots Charts.
