Natalie Gelman – Streetlamp Musician EP Review

Natalie Gelman – Streetlamp Musician (Self Released)

Natalie Gelman is a American artist with a lot of buzz behind her and it’s no wonder, her music is something special. She is such a talented singer songwriter and this EP re-forces it. It starts off with One More Thing a rocky catchy tune that shows off her voice, songwriting lyrics. It to me is always a good indicator with the opening track. Long Stemmed Roses has a real country pop feel, it’s a beautiful song, solid vocals, mixed with great musicianship and songwriting. The use of piano just adds to the tune. Most The While is a laid back tune that lets the songwriting and lyrics show off. It has a real folk edge mixed with pop side to the tune. The Lion show off the songwriting, lyrics and vocals. I love the use of the strings. The song is an edgy tune and you can tell in the way it is crafted, written and with the lyrics. Streetlamp Musician is the title track shows off the vocals, melodies, the good songwriting, the solid production and musicianship. It’s a laid back tune that is beautifully written. Laugh So Hard You Cry shows off the vocals, lyrics and really show off why Natalie Gelman is getting the buzz she is getting. This is a solid EP, production is great, the songs are amazing, there is a lot to love about this EP, its a winner in my books and a good indicator of what her next release is gonna be like and where her career is heading. She is a talent that is something special and you need to check her out.
