| MISHA BEAR |MELBOURNE BASED ELECTRONIC POP ARTIST RELEASES NEW EP ‘STORIES’ Melbourne based singer/songwriter Misha Bear has just released her new EP ‘Stories’. ‘Stories’ is a collection of beautifully crafted Electronic Pop songs. Bear teamed up with Perth based producer Craig Cumming to create the EP. After 10 years playing bass and singing in various ensembles in Perth, Bear chose to move back to her home town of Melbourne to embark on a solo career, releasing material under her own name. After testing the waters with the ‘Mouche’ EP in 2014, Bear went on to compose over a hundred songs in the succeeding four years. In 2018, she decided to re-enter the studio to record eight of her favourite songs to make up her first full-length album. The resulting product, ‘Ladybug’, was tracked in various home studios and showcases an unbelievably versatile and talented musician with enormous drive.
New EP ‘Stories’ is available for download on all major online stores.

Kingston-based alt-rock outfit Kasador dropped their debut album, Brood & Bloom, earlier this month; a collection of 12-tracks written during tough times as an attempt to gain something positive from those experiences. Produced in part by Graham Walsh (Sam Roberts, Lights, Wintersleep), and by Rob Baker & Gord Sinclair of The Tragically Hip, Brood & Bloom is a reflection on the personal growth and deeper connections that can stem from trying times – how good can come from the bad.
