Lydia Gray is one talented singer songwriter from
America to watch out for.
Her music is great and really enjoyable to listen to.
I know I say this a lot about this but she is really
good.
She is one artist who should be on radio because she
deserves it

1.How did you get into music?

I’ve always been into music… Piano, voice lessons,
Violin, Guitar… but I didn’t start writing music for
myself until a few years ago. I was going through a
difficult time and it helped me work through feelings and
emotions I was struggling with.

2.What were your major influences?

Not feeling like I was understood and struggling with the
ability to communicate with friends and loved ones.

3.If you could have a three-band bill who would they
be?

Imogen Heap, Keane, The Perishers

4. What has the response been to your music?

So far so good, I’ve had allot of people ask for interviews
and how they can get their hands on my CD.

5. Who would you most like to record a song
with?

Oh goodness, who knows… I don’t know that that is up to
me

6. What made you want to go out and play
music?

Knowing how my words can help people and if there is any
remote chance that my music can change lives like others
music has changed mine, then I hope that I can continue to
share my voice.

7. What are your thoughts on file sharing and the mp3
format?

Its not in the best interest of musicians

8. Do you think MySpace is for good artists and
bands?

Totally… it’s given me alot of exposure

9. Do you think the Internet is good for helping artists
get known?

I do, very much so!

10. What bands/artists are you listening to
lately?

Imogen Heap, James Blunt

11. Who has helped you out the most?

My family

12. If you could be on The Simpson’s where would you be
playing?

No clue, I don’t watch the show:(

13. What has the response been like for your music on
the web?

Great response- alot of support and love.

14. Any responses from record labels?

Yes, a couple.

15. Have you got any releases lined up?

Yes I am releasing an EP early Spring 2006!
