Canberra based Taiwanese-Australian Indie Folk artist Kim Yang has just released her new EP ‘Brave’, which was premiered via The AU Review. She has also announced an upcoming EP launch show to celebrate the release.
The EP is a collection of heartfelt songs that showcase Kim’s eclectic blend of Folk, Pop and Blues.
Kim Yang released her debut EP ‘Ocean Of Mind’ in 2019 and has since toured all around Australia and beyond. She has shared the stage with the likes of Tori Forsyth, Josh Pyke and Ben Lee. Kim has also played at the National Folk Festival (2019) and Good Folk (2020).
In 2020 Kim released her singles ‘Garden Of Eden’ and ‘Dominoes’, which were both aired on Triple J’s ‘Roots N All’ program. Kim recently secured a grant from ArtsACT, and soon after entered the studio to record her new EP ‘Brave’. She released the first single from the EP called ‘Fantasy’ in August, which was aired on Double J.
Her new EP ‘Brave’ is available for streaming and download on all major online stores.
