Jimmy Hornet new music venue in Melbourne

Ok I love checking out new music venues and Jimmy Hornet in Richmond is a lovely new spot to see some live music, have a bite to eat and have a drink or two. They are open from Wednesday to Sunday and it’s a great little place. I went there on Friday to see my friend Victor Stranger play and I knew Anthea from when she used to run The Chandler Room and both her and husband Graham just are really lovely people. We came back the next night and really enjoyed it and watched Mike Elrington play who was incredible.

They have music Wednesday to Sunday and Jazz on Sunday’s. They were very accommodating to me and my friend. They made us feel welcome and appreciated us coming out. The food is great and good beer on tap plus a good selection of spirits and wine. It is really great to have a nice new venue in Richmond that caters for people want to go somewhere nice and have a meal and drink and see some live music. I think what they are doing is excellent and I urge you all to go check it out. I will be going back it’s such a lovely spot to see some live music, have a nice meal and a few drinks. It’s very much worth your time.

It’s at 269 Swan St in Richmond. Located 50m from the corner of Swan St and Coppin St.
Tram 70 leads you to there venue. East Richmond Train Station – 5-minute walk.
Burnley Train Station – 5-minute walk.
