My producer Charles Humenry and I worked on this song in the height of the pandemic, hundreds of miles apart, behind computer screens. I felt so isolated and just wanted to make some music to dance to when we were all together again. “How Love Begins” is a song about purposeful optimism; maintaining your hope for the future, regardless of what has happened in your past.
