Boys Boys Boys! – We Are Excited About Everything (Firestarter Distribution)

Boys Boys Boys! are synth pop band with a female vocalist and backing vocals, so it’s catchy and well written and makes you wanna get up and dance. The opening song Don’t Bail Out just shows that, the use of the synth use of the instruments and vocals working together right. Super-Fine is one of those songs I could be seen used in a television commercial for clothing or a radio ad. It’s use of vocals are used well. It’s catchy and musicianship is top notch. Holiday is one of my picks off the CD love the use of the instruments and the intro, it’s a sold tune that shows off the songwriting and vocals. Water’s Edge is another well written song, solid, catchy, draws you in with its energy, melodies and rhythms and vocals. Cut The Roof Off Your Car uses solid vocals, good use of the synth, drums to perfection. It’s a good tune. B.A.G.R.A. is another catchy tune, the songwriting is excellent as is the vocals and the musicianship. The use of synth at the start is good, this song has more of rock vibe to it. We Like To Move is another song that I could see being used in a commercial, the way the song is structured and performed. I’m Here Forever is a good catchy tune, love the use of the vocals, the use of the instruments, it’s a little dirtier around the edges and I love it. Management Baby has the kind of the same feel but the synth is used more often and that is good. Casio Joy has more of a feelgood vibe to it, with the way the synth and vocals are used and the same with the guitar. It’s well written tune. Get Rad is another tune is a litle dirty around the edges but solid use of the synth.  Take It Easy is a solid tune good way to finish off the album, vocals, musicianship and song writing is solid. This is a really fun catchy release, the energy you get off this album just sucks you in and you cannot help but just wanna get up and dance. I can see why this Perth band is getting some buzz, once you hear this, you will be a fan to.
