1. How did the band form?

CQ: My brother and i started writing songs when we were 13.
We always knew we wanted to start a band so when we went to
college we met Jeff Johson, our bass player. We did a show
as a three piece and drummer Erik Bogdonas was in the
crowd. He wanted to audition for us and he blew us away.
Within the first three weeks of college we had the band
formed, all originals members remain.

2. Who were your idols growing up?

CQ: My biggest idol was John Lennon. Stevie Wonder and
Eddie Vedder follow closely.

3. Who were your influnces?

CQ: My influences growing up were John Lennon, Beach Boys,
Stevie Wonder, Duran Duran, and so many others. As i got
older i was influenced by Pearl Jam, Toad the Wet Sprocket,
Counting Crows, and Oasis.

4. What has the responce been to new album?

CQ: We’ve been getting a lot of good feedback from this
record so far. Fans seem to really like it, they’re singing
along with every song. I’m not really sure what industry
people are thinking about it yet. Most people say they like
some of the songs but there’s not a hit song. I could care
less, we wrote an album not a hit song with a bunch of shit
fillers. We’re proud of the record and that’s what is
important.

5. How has Alternative Addiction helped?

AA is the shit. We really appreciate them taking us in as
one of their featured artists. We’ve gotten a alot of
attention from people around the country that otherwise may
never have heard of us. I think we should send them
flowers.

6. Has the internet helped with your music?

The main goal of any band should be spreading your music to
as many people as possible and obviously the internet helps
with that process. I don’t see anything negative about
something that spreads your music and gets more people out
to shows. Also the internet allows us to communicate with
our fans via e-mail and message boards.

7. What are your thoughts to filesharing and the mp3
format?

For us it’s great. Again, it allows us to get our music out
to more people. Maybe for for more mainstream artists it
creates a problem as far as sales and stuff but we dig
it.

8. Have you had much responce from labels?

I hear theres been some response to the new record. I don’t
really get to excited about that kind of thing unless
theres a decision to be made. We’re doing what were doing
and it’s working well for us. If someone can come along and
help with the process than cool, not to worried about that.
I don’t think labels are what they used to be. If we can
continue to grow on our own than i think everything will be
cool.

9. If you could work with any one who would it
be?

I guess it would be the people that we are working with
now.

10. How did the recording process for the ep
go?

The ep that was recorded a couple years was a good way for
us to get to know our new producer and studio. figured out
how to work with each other. Definately helped in recording
the new disc. We didn’t have to get re-aquanted with the
studio and producer, just got in there and got to work. So
the ep was cool.

11. What is it like being a indepedent artist in
America?

Good. We do everything at our own pace and by our own
discretion. Control is a good thing. Without it i’m not
sure i’d still be playing music at all.

12. What are your thoughts on realty tv talent shows eg
American Idol?

Not to many thoughts really. I watched this season of
American idol a little. I guess its nice.

13. If you could have a dream gig line up who would they
be?

I’m not sure i understand the question. But if your asking
who i would like to play with then i would say…. um.. not
really sure. There’s lots of bands we’d like to do shows
with. check above influences to start with.

14. Have you had much support from radio?

Not on a large scale. Here and there we get some stations
to play our music. So far that has been a struggle for us
though. Any advice?

15. If you could be on The Simpsons or Spongebob
Squarepants where would you be?.

Our bass player is a simpsons fanatic so i guess i speak
for him on that one. Spongebob.

16. What is on your stereo at the moment?

X&Y, coldplay, And Michael Jackson’s Ones.

17. What are some of your favourite musicial
artists/bands?

The Killers, Coldplay, Stereophonics, Beatles, U2, Pearl
Jam, Counting Crows, Pinback, Third Eye Blind, Radiohead,
and Miles Davis.

18. What movies you have seen lately you have really
enjoyed?

I usually wait for movies to come out on DVD so this might
be a little dated. I guess my favorite new releases would
be Open Water, Napolean Dynamite, Shawn of the Dead, and
Ray.

19 What are your favourite movies?

The Goonies, Neverending Story, every Christopher Guest
film, The Butterfly Affect, Labrynth, and Green Mile.

20. Realty TV? Good Or Bad?

Bad, very very bad.

21. Beer Of Choice?

Cold.

Thanks for your time any last words:

no last words, thanks a lot for paying attention to us!
