Finally updating the site after a little bit.

Sydney/Central Coastbased Punk Rock lords NFÏ have just released their blistering new single and music video called ‘IKEA’, which premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage.

“IKEA came from one too many trips to IKEA where we went in for one thing and ended up walking around for what felt like hours trying to get out. It’s basically a song about how annoying that place can be, getting dragged through all the fake living rooms and following arrows that never seem to take you where you want to go.”

The single is the first offering from the bands upcoming album, which is scheduled for release on July 17.

Over the past several years, NFÏhave developed a reputation as a must see live act/experience, boasting an obnoxiously loud and at times, comedic setlist that will set any venue alight. They released their debut album ‘Gronks On Bogan Rd’ in 2021, and quickly followed up in 2022 with the release of sophomore album ‘Shit & Derision’.

NFÏ recently entered the studio to record their latest album and are now ready to unleash the first taste of the LP to the world.

New single ‘IKEA’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services, and features a B-side called ‘Scales Of Pay’.

Sydney based singer/songwriter Katy Denney has just released her highly anticipated EP called ‘Home’, which premiered via AAA Backstage

The EP is a collection of earnest tracks that blend elements of Indie, Folk, New Wave and Pop. ‘Home’centres around unguarded storytelling and lives in a sonic world of evolving, organic textures all tethered by honest and bare lyrics.

Katy Denney debuted in 2023 with the release of her self-produced single called
‘Never Thought I Would Miss You’, which has since amassed over 100k streams on Spotify.

Katy recently released her single called ‘Bad At This’, which was the first offering from her upcoming EP release. The single was premiered via ABC Country and
The AU Review, and quickly gained airplay via Triple JUnearthed RadioDouble J and many more stations around the world.

Katy then followed up with the release of recent single ‘Flowers In My Hair’, which premiered via TOPS on Triple J Unearthed as well as The AU Review. The single has since achieved airplay on Country Club (Triple J), Slow Burn (Triple J Unearthed) as well as over 50 stations across the country.

New EP ‘Home’ is available via all online streaming outlets.

“Carried by Denney’s expressive vocal delivery and innate gift for storytelling, the song reveals itself slowly, drawing natural parallels to the work of Joni Mitchell. Like Mitchell at her most affecting, Denney finds depth in the detail, transforming moments of internal conflict into something quietly expansive and universally felt.” The AU Review

“Katy Denney proves yet again that we can have nice things. Just sublime!”

Andy Gav – Triple J
