Custie is an emerging alternative pop artist hailing from London, Ontario. In 2021, he won the Youth Award at the Forest City London Music Awards. His distinct sound explores pop music as it intersects with singer-songwriter, R&B and alternative music. He accredits his knack for musical exploration to influences such as Frank Ocean, Prince, King Krule, The Beach Boys and D’Angelo.

“Little Island” builds on his brand of pop that offers an intriguing mix of digital production and live instrumentation. The summery new single explores the idea of seeing your life predetermined by a heritage that can never quite be erased, no matter how different your life might be from that of those who came before you. The joy, pain, and everything triumphant and troubled about that heritage lives inside of you. The seams of it are always sewed back. What’s left is an island–a strand–of living and breathing things.

Canberra based Indie Rock singer/songwriter Nicholas Costello has just released his new single ‘Lightning With You’.

He has also announced a single launch at Staves Brewery in Sydney on October 15th to celebrate the release.

Torontonian singer-songwriter, Rosanne Baker Thornley, has shared Sorry I’m Late, a record written to move and comfort listeners through reflections on pieces of life that Thornley has lived and witnessed. It’s about insights, moments of awe, losses, lessons, and the determination to continue on.

Sorry I’m Late features the vulnerable and introspective title track, which gently pieces together the hectic nature of a day in Thornley‘s life, as well as the most rewarding experiences she’s had, such as raising her daughter.

Over hypnotic acoustic guitar, drums, and lilting piano, Thornley straddles the line between entering into the future’s unknown and grappling with the present’s quickening pace.

Ollee Owens is a musical force of nature who combines burning intensity with elegant grace and skilled composure wrapped in an electrifying blues rock veneer. The result is an unforgettable, emotionally charged musical experience that moves both body and soul. Having released “Edge of Goodbye” and “Raging Fire” earlier this year, Owens has set her intentions as a talented artist who deals in authenticity.

Latest single, “Through the Darkest Night,” is an evocative track that touches on the endurance of a powerful connection – an intense love that builds throughout intense musical moments and smooth, soulful vocals. For the accompanying music video, Owens and her team went to Vegas, shooting the desert and cityscapes in contrast with each other to capture the sonic dynamics visually.

Regina, Saskatchewan’s Ryan Hicks found the inspiration for his new single in an unlikely place, overhearing a conversation between a mother and daughter while on a songwriting trip to Palm Springs.

The daughter showed her mother a cut on her knee and asked, “Momma, am I going to die?” Her mother’s comforting response was a feeling that Ryan chose to return to in “Am I Going To Die (Hot Windy Palms),” his wistful new single which blends folk and pop influences to capture love, caring, and a sense of wonder at the world and its unknowns.

Julian Taylor is sharing a heartfelt new single ahead of the release of Beyond the Reservoir, his upcoming album out on October 14th.

The gentle, Americana-inflected Opening The Sky” is an ode to his daughter, sharing a guide with her to living an honest and just life as she navigates a world that can be painful to live in.

“No matter what, I will always be there for her, whether it is in the flesh or in spirit. This song is meant to be transformative and exudes a feeling of unconditional love,” explains Taylor.
