Lana Phillips is a very good singer from America.
One of the best singers I have heard in a while.
So here is the interview with her.

1. Why did you decide to become a singer?

1.) In 6th grade, i met a new friend named Krystal, who
loved to sing. One day, we were hanging out and she popped
in the Spiceworld CD and asked me to sing with her. I did
and we came up with a routine. We did our routine whenever
we would and I just really started enjoying it. Ever since
then all I’ve wanted to do was perform and entertain
people.

2. Who were your idols growing up?

2.) I really wanted to sound like the big power singers;
like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Martina McBride. But
as the teeny bop scene got bigger I really liked Christina
Aguilera, who in her own way has become a big powerhouse
singer.

3. What has the whole American Idol experience been
like?

3.) Seeing myself on T.V. was really cool and i loved it.
But actually being there was hard. I’m one of those people
who need sleep to function and I had little sleep when I
was there. Most of what I remember was hard work.

4. What is it like playing live?

4.) Really cool. You feel the vibe of the audience and it
gives you a powerful energy.

5. Has the internet helped with your music?

5.)The internet is my connection to my fans. It allows me
to me to reach out and talk to them. It also is a way to
buy my CD since it is being distributed by Tower
Online.

6. What has the responce been to the single?

6.) The single is very touching for people who can relate,
and everyone can relate to it in one way or another.

7. Any responce from overseas labels?

7.)We are distributed internationally by the JAM label and
through Tower Online.

8. If you could work with any one who would it
be?

8.) Gavin Degraw, Gary Allan, or Josh Groban

9. Where would you most like to tour?

9.) I’d love to tour anywhere

10. If you could have a dream gig line up who would they
be?

10.) Britney Spears(pre-pregnancy), Black Eyed Peas, Gavin
Degraw, Kanye West, The Killers, and Maroon Five
