Interview With Bree Walters By Chris

Bree Walters is one great australian actress
She was on the great australian drama Always Greener.
We want to see more of her on our screens.
So I wanted to interview her as she is one great
actress.

1. What made you want to be an actress?

That’s a very good question and looking back now it was
probably a very stupid decision, but hey, it seemed like a
good idea at the time. This however is coming from the
mouth of a currently unemployed actress. But in all
seriousness I love acting and at the time hoped to and
still intend to make a living out of it. It could all
horrible blow up in my face though.

2. Who were your idols growing up?

James Dean, Maxwell Smart, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis,
Marilyn Monre, Dumbo and the feather, Kylie “Locomotion
faze”, Mickey Mouse, Johnny Depp, The golden Arch aka
Mickey Dees. Judy Garland, Wednesday Addams, Audrey
Hepburn. There’s plenty more but that’s just a sweet
few.

3. Would you go overseas for a role in a film?

YES!!!!! I absolutely love travelling and if I could
combine the two that would be a beautiful thing.

4. What was it like working on Always Greener?

Some would say BEST! I worked with very talented folk,
visited all sorts of yummy places in Australia and got paid
to act. What more could you want than a cherry on
top.

5. Did you get a lot of experience and skill out of
it?

I certainly learned a lot in those two years and that’s
mainly due to the creative little energies that buzzed
around me. Ummmm, now skill. I hope I picked up some of
that?

6. Did you learn much from some of the more experienced
actors?

I learned so much from everyone who worked on that show,
but I was certainly blessed with mum and bro.

7. Did you enjoy your time on the show?

Affirmative! And I wish it had of lasted just a little
longer. But I’ve built that bridge and am currently
crossing it.

8. Do you still keep in contact with the cast?

Yeah! I saw Mickey last week and am catching up with Daniel
Bowden today for a bevy in St Kilda. The weather however is
looking a tad iffie! But knowing good old Melbourne town
it’ll come good. There is one performer I have severed ties
with and this
is………………………………………………
Jack, my character Pip’s dog.

7. What are some of your favourite movies?

The Adams family, From Hell minus Heather Grahram,
Chocolat, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Wizard of Oz,
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,
Sleepy Hollow, A Girl on a Bridge, Reality Bites,
Beetlejuice, Ledgends of the Fall, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I
just realized we could be here all day I’ll stop.

8. What movies you have seen lately you have really
enjoyed?

To tell you the truth it’s been a while in between drinks
in regard to the cinemas, but I did see The Notebook with
my mum and sister when I was last in town and there was
definitely a few tears.

9. What kinda role would you most like to
play?

I would love to play a Lara Croft type role and kick some
serious butt. But standing short at165cm, facially looking
like a 12year old and not carrying all that much in a
certain region I think perhaps hell could freeze over
before that one occurs. I would also love to play a vampire
or a witch. I’m very intrigued by the occult. Oh, Oh and
Cat Woman. Ever since I was a wee one I always hankered for
that role. However lets all give a cheers to Halle Berry
for taking that one out of contention for the next ten
years.

10. What are your thoughts on studio remaking
movies?

I’m all up for it. It simple means more work opportunities
for little old me. However, It does depend on the movie and
the creative team behind it.

11. Who would you most like to work with?

Arrrrr, here comes a dream list. Cate Blanchett, Johnny
Depp, Orlando Bloom (purely just to gork @), Robert Deniro,
Tim Burton, Quintin Tarantino, Bob Hope (yeah I did say
dream list) everyone at CHANNEL 7, 9,10, ABC, SBS, all PAY
TV CHANNELS and the whole entire Australian FILM &
THEATRE INDUSTRY, really just anyone, I am not at all
fussed.

12. What’s your view on realty TV? Good Or
Bad?

Definitely BAD! very very bad.

13. What have you got lined up next?

That’s a another good question, know anyone?

14. What’s in your stereo at the moment?

Probably cockroaches! I live in Sydney. The joint is
littered with them. But returning to the question at hand
Michael Buble. He sings like a dream and I love all those
old crooner classics.

15. What are your favourite music
artists/bands?

The Rat Pack, Beatles, Fiona Apple, Chemical Brothers,
Bjork, U2, The Three Tenors.

Bye Bye

Bree
